Christine Emery serves as the Executive Managing Director of Helmsley Spear. Ms. Emery’s primary focus is on all aspects of commercial/retail real estate, both in leasing and sales of properties.   

Prior to joining Helmsley Spear, Ms. Emery served as Executive Managing Director and headed MHP’s retail division where she was responsible for both tenant and landlord retail leasing and sales representation.

Ms. Emery is involved in the strategic planning of tenant’s initial entry into the United States market and the expansion of its existing brand. She is also responsible for the renewal of urban properties.

In the beginning of Ms. Emery’s career, she worked at the South Street Seaport Museum during the United States Bicentennial where she was part of the museum’s team to revitalize the Seaport. Mrs. Emery real estate work in retail ranges from the Upper West Side of Manhattan to the Centre Commercial at the Tour Montparnasse in Paris.

In 2007, The Real Estate Board of New York honored Ms. Emery with its “2007 Deal of the Year” award for the deal that most benefits Manhattan which was for placing Hermes at 15 Broad Street. Ms. Emery was also named a “Woman of Influence” by Real Estate New York.

Ms. Emery graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University with a Bachelor’s degree in History. She is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and the International Committee of Shopping Centers. Additionally, Ms. Emery is also on the Retail Committee of the Real Estate Board of New York.

Ms. Emery resides in New York City.
